Default x-post...Looking for a way to slightly lower my sport suspension...(Bilstein adjustable shocks?)

On previous Audis I've done shocks and springs (Neuspeed / Bilstein) but I don't want to go that route this time in that I don't want to compromise the current ride quality. Will height adjustable Bilstein shocks allow me to bring the car down a bit? I think they have 3 settings, will this work with the stock sport springs?

Default shox.com sells a Koni coilover kit for A4's that sells for $899. It's supposed to be a good setup..

and externally adjustable. I'm putting a set on my car this spring. I have heard that the ride quality is as good as stock in one setting, but you can slam it if you feel the need. Plus, it's about $400 cheaper than the H&R setup.

Default I just spoke with Neuspeed the shocks themselves have 5 grooves...

both front and rear have the 5 grooves. Middle setting stock height is 3 and either of the two grooves below that will result in a slight lowering of the car. This might be what I'm looking for in that I'm happy with the current ride quality but want to go down slightly.

Default Re: consider Einbach Pro Kit

i got 4 Einbach springs for about $275 with about $200 for installation and the ride around town seems little affected and the cornering is noticeably better - especially under hard acceleration. Might be the trick and not nearly as expensive as coilovers or MTM's. I kept the stock S4 01 shocks. Very happy with the cost and effect. Only had them for a week.

Default Reminder...

...whatever distance you lower the car is that much less the suspension can travel. Firmer springs along with lowering compensates to some extent.

You may find yourself in the suspension stoppers more.
