XPOST: White packing grease?? Where is it used in the A4?

where do you always use packing grease?
For packing bearings. If you have a set of ball bearings you have packing grease there. So it should be at all four corners. It isn't used so often in the diff (rear) or transaxle because they have plenty of oil available and they use that for lubrication instead.

You should've seen the talent I pulled this Saturday.........
I'll rig the digicam for you next time Willie, and I'll try to work in some Lithium grease somehow - just for you. ;-)
