I'll put some chatter out here.... installed one of the bentley wheels for a test run today...
I got a set of bentley wheels a few weeks ago for an absolute steal. 90% off dealer pricing. I went and did a test fit and found out that since the A8's rotors are smaller then the bentley's the center of the wheels would rub against the edge of the caliper. I ordered up a set of H&R 5mm spacers and bolts from AWE. I got the bolts last week but decided since the weather was nice to do a test fit see how things look/fit.
Either way I love the look, and I will swap out the B's for rings as my final step. Would love to hear what you guys think of the wheels. They're off a flying spur, 20"x9" 275/35 series tires. For a reference the A8L stock brakes are 14.2" then W12's and S8's are 15.2 and the Bentley's check in at a whopping 15.9".
All in all I did the whole deal for just under $1500 with spacers and bolts. I might put spacers out back to even things out, we'll see.

The tires came with the rims, not my first choice but....
Yoko Adavan's Summer tires. 180 tread depth. These will last like 8-10k miles tops.
I have some other tires lined up for summer after I wear these down. They should make it one season and then into the start of next summer and that should be it.

I personally hate Toyo's....
I had a set of FZ4's once and they were terrible at best. I will go for a set of Yoko S Drives. At $181 a corner its the best deal under the sun. Advan sports are great don't get me wrong but not $421 a corner great.

is that 5mm less of the wheel being supported by the hub and now on the longer lugs?
From the pics, it appears the hub wasn't being completely used by the OEM wheels. strange.
So, do those wheels use a ring to fill in that space of the spacer?
I use a hubcentric spacer with my OEM wheels rather than the type you're using.
I would see if you can find a small OEM "rings" center cap instead of the B ones.
nice car, btw. I would love to have one as a DD. I test drove a few cars in the last 1-2+ years as I grow tired of the stiff suspension and no back seat for car seats, and it was on top of my list. a lot of bang for the buck. although, I always toy with the idea of a D2 S8 for a lot less and just bank the money to repair it...but, might as well put a spare tranny on the shelf.

No hub rings are needed...
Bentley hubs and A8 hubs are the same size. The spacer does push the wheel out from the hub by 5mm so there is less axle hub to wheel hub contact. Its not enough to be a problem, more then 5mm you would want some spacers with hubcentric rings. The 5mm longer bolts are no problem. The offset without the spacer is 41 the offset with the spacer is now 36. I did longer wheel lugs to be safe.
The hub and the center of the stock wheels mate up perfect as do the Bentley's.
I already have the part number for the Audi Rings. I have to do a little bit of surgery. I have to take the black center plastic cap heat it or soak it to get the B top cap to come off from the plastic cap body. Its glued on at the moment. I have a set of Audi top caps I can order and glue in place of where the old B top cap used to be. Its 20 bucks a cap from audi, ironically Benley only charges 9 bucks for their center cap.
