Default A couple night shots...

I took the camera out tonight to play around with the settings at night, in order to try to get the right exposure. I tested a bunch of different settings, but these two shots came out the best. Feedback welcome.

I also tried some shots of car lights in the street with long exposures. I had some bad particle flare in the shots. I think they were just small particles of dust on the lens, but they showed up big time in the photos. Any suggestions there, other then try to get the lens as clean as possible?

Default Cool shots. Was it windy in the first one?

or did you trigger the shutter without a timer or remote? looks like a little bit of motion softness.

Default A little, although...

I think that was more from making the mistake of hand holding the camera on a long exposure. Even with supporting it on the pole, hindsight I should have just pulled out the tripod. I know better next time.

Default oh its hand held. Then yes...thats from camera shake. A tripod will clear that right up!
