Default Got a new bag!!!

I've needed a new camera bag forever now! I picked this one up. I love it! Tamrac Adventure 75.

Here is a pic of my old bag(small one) compared to my new one!

Default nice bag, I have the same bag too..

my only gripe is that the bag is too shallow for the majority of my L lenses.

Default really?

Hmm that sucks. I'm getting the 70-200 f2.8L sometime this year. I thought this bag would be good for it.

Default I think what he's trying to say is there isn't enough depth to handle many pieces of L glass...

If you lay them down, you're fine, as the 70-200 is oriented in your picture. However if you also have a 17-40 and 24-70, they may also need to be laid out in the same fashion, rather than planted mount first, because of a lack of depth.

Default 24-70 & 17-40 are ok but anything longer won't fit mount first.

That's a common problem with these kinds of bags. Longer lenses can be problematic to fit in.

Default If that's the case, most of the L's are smaller than the 24-70.

Primes over 150mm and zooms over 70-200 need to be laid down. That's not bad.

Default Yup. But anything longer than 5 inches will be painful :)

For example the 70-200/2.8L is problematic. All the shorter lenses fit in most bags just fine.

Default You have a dirty mind, sir!

How's the 400/2.8 holding up? Is the swamp all frozen up this time of the year?
