Default I'm pretty happy with my Panasonic FX37.

25mm wide angle, 720p videos, looks nice and very tiny.

I paid $250 for mine in early december, FWIW. They also just announced the FX48, which has some minor spec bumps.<ul><li><a href="http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-DMC-FX37K-Digital-Stabilized-Black/dp/B001CCJOHU/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=electronics&amp;qid= 1234798209&amp;sr=8-1">Amazon</a></li></ul>
