I was a little frustrated that A, there were too many tree to get a good shot and B, I didn't have a wide angle lens to get a decent shot anyway.

Default I would have settled for the kit lens. I was getting ready 4 work when I heard about it, in my head

was thinking I wouldn't be able to get close so I grabbed the 70-300. There was no one really around it but I still had to shoot from across 4 lanes of traffic. I don't know why I didn't grab the other lens. Lesson learned.

I definitely would have to start earning some $$$ with the camera to justify the purchase of that bad boy.

Default I have the lens..

its fairly sharp and focuses fast (im no expert). I heard that the Tokina 12-24 is good too.
