Default I use a Phottix Cleon from ebay for my Nikon, but they make it for Canons too...

Seems decently made, works great, either wired or wireless and can't beat the price.

Default I bought this one through Amazon and was very happy with how it worked ...

<small>x-posted from the other forum</small>

Until I lost the receiver on one of my outings.

<a href="http://www.amazon.com/WR-A100-Wireless-Remote-Control-compatible/dp/B000UV4AIM/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_k2a_1_img?pf_rd_p=304485601&pf_rd _s=lpo-top-stripe-2&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000J5M69Y&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX 0DER&pf_rd_r=0FAJ1BJZNZQWCT2DXHT7">WR-A100 Wireless Remote Control for Canon</a>

Wireless trigger worked great (very good range and obstructed view performance). The receiver switch for selecting bulb, remote, normal was a bit easy to accidentally shift, but not biggie. Mine also never showed a charge above 20% (per the green indicator lights) but in the field didn't show signs of draining quickly either. I'd planned to return it for a new unit because of this ... until I lost it.

Well spent $79 IMO.

I'm now relegated to using the Canon cable release, which works perfectly but obviously lacks wireless capability. My next purchase is the new Pocket Wizard mini and receiver, so that'll solve that.
