I've got a late 2016 Q3 2.0 TDI quattro 135kw/184ps.

This week an adblue warning popped up that we've got 1500 miles left (we've done about 5500 miles from new). So tonight I picked up a 10l bottle of it, and I understand the capacity of the tank is 12l.

I've put almost all of the 10l bottle in, but when the car starts up I'm still seeing the warning that there is only 1500 miles of adblue left. Will the warning clear itself when I start driving or do I have a problem?

Turn the car on but do not start it until 30 seconds or so have elapsed.

If it's anything like my Touareg TDI was, that was the reset procedure after filling the Adblue tank.
