My Q3 has been having problem starting.

The 1st time was May 29. When I press on the engine start button, all sort of lights on my instrument panel came on. It also said brake fault, steering wheel lock, low battery, etc. Audi roadside assistance tow truck jump started fir me. The dealer could not find any problem. The battery was good, no error code.

The 2nd time was June 4. I was nearly stranded since I'm one of the last person to leave the office at night (10pm+). When I tried to start the car, all sort of light came on. The message said low battery. The headlight flickered.

The 3rd time was June 5 morning (this morning). Again, all sort of light came on. The message said low battery.

I just had the same problem on my 2015 Q3. My battery is now 3 1/2 years old and probably due for replacement. Did replacing battery per dealer recommendations fix the problem? Is there any aftermarket batteries. Audi dealer quoted me $300 USD for replacement

I had the same issue after 2 years in my 2015 Q3....The service manager said that all Q3s shipped with batteries too small for the vehicle's power needs so eventually would go bad. They replaced it with a larger, higher output one and said the problem shouldn't happen again.
