I noticed since day one, occasionally when I walk pass the car, the lights flash and door lock chirp. I thought I accidentally pressed the lock button on the remote, but most times, the remote is in my coat pocket and no possible to press. Anyone else have similar problem?

Just got my Q3 a couple of weeks ago, and, yes, I have had a few similar experiences. After this has occurred, upon entering the vehicle I get a "no key" warning. I have needed to get out, lock the car, and start again.

I'm going to mention this at my 5,000 mile service.

I didn't notice any message about no key, at least I was able to start the car without incident every time.

I've had my Q3 for almost a year. A few times I've gotten the chirp but I think it is because the key is in my packet, I'm walking, and another key on my key ring pushed the lock button. It has only happened a few times. A couple of times I've gotten the "No key" even though I and am sitting in drivers seat. To resolve, just hold the butt of the key to the imprinted square on the right side of the wheel column.

Chirp and lights flash happened again the last 2 days. I am quite sure I nothing in my pocket had pressed the key. Not sure why it's doing it.
