Why put $5k down on a $35k car?- that's a very large % to risk on a lease

Anything under invoice is a strong deal

so you got it down to 34k from 38k?
before taxes and fees i assume.

i tried looking up that build and on the audiusa its not the same as your description. im trying to build it exactly what your looking at without rounding numbers and such. if your round then the dealer looks at you as your an easy buyer and can round up if they need to. when i bought my car they tried to round and i staying to exact numbers. they then knew i know all my numbers and if they snuck in a fee i would know but if you round like the way your doing it here i can sneak in a few hundreds here and there and youll either gloss over it or allow it and ignore the up charges.

going from that it seems like an ok deal if your in a rush to buy.

without the exact info im looking for to help you with i cant say how much more you can do or even if the numbers i see is correct to begin with to calculate a number for you.

It's not 5k down. The 5k includes fees such as tax, registration, etc...

The built:
2018 2.0t quattro - $35k exact
Misano Red - $575
Convenience pack - $1350
Guard - $305
Garage - $295
Wheel lock - $115
Shipping - $975
MSRP - $38615.00

All in all if you factor in after rebate the cap is $34,000

start the deal at $30,505.00
then leave if your at the dealership.

if they counter you, then go as high as $32,050.00

stand firm at that number but make sure you stay at the starter number for a while.

Trying to start at ~20% off MSRP on a 2018 Q3 really isn't realistic.
