Q3 2018 - no warning for driving with open door
Hi,
I have a 3 month old Q3 2018 model, and to my horror, while driving today, I noticed the little display panel in the centre of instrument cluster was showing one open door.
I am used from my past VW and Mazda cars to receive a loud audible warning when trying to drive off with open door.
Is this Audi philosophy (they know better) for their warning systems, or is it a fault on my car that I should pursue?

I checked this out in our '17 Q3 this morning. I get a chime along with the parking brake automatically firing if I open the driver's door. But the front passenger door just shows the door open icon in the DIS without any audible chime. I didn't spend any time looking through MMI or manual to see if there are options related to this.

I would not expect it to be User selectable. Just plain bad design.
I found out another thing - you can lock the car with the door-handle sensor or with the remote gadget even if one door is not closed.
I wonder what else.
