Q3 quattro trans problem
Has anybody had at issues with the drivetrain on a Q3 slipping? I have a 2016 Q3 Quattro that basically started disengaging/slipping the transmission in 1st gear and revving up to 6000 rpm for 2-4 seconds. In trying to figure out what was causing it (accelerating then stopping) I made it so it wouldn't drive forward anymore. Shifting from Drive to reverse and back it lurches like it is going into gear but still wont drive.
I haven't had time to do any diagnosis yet but wanted to see if there were any ideas what to look at first. I figured I will climb under it and look at the physical drivetrain but could this be an electrical or programming issue? I recently reset all error codes on it.
Any help or ideas is appreciated. Thanks

Because it was rear-ended (minor) and given a Salvage title which voids the warranty. I cant even get Audi to look at it.
New details: In Sport mode it shifts better but it still will run away once it gets over 3000 rpm in first gear. Its getting an incorrect gear ratio code for first gear and an output speed sensor code just arrived. I'm going out to try to find the sensor right now. Hope its external and not internal. Otherwise its going to a transmission shop. $$$$$
