I have a 2016 Q3 quattro that apparently needs a new trans (not warranty). My question is does anyone know if the transmission from an A3 Quattro compatible with the Q3? The engine bolt pattern should be the same but is the wiring harness different? Can the Q3 trans controller work the A3 S-tronic 6spd DSG or can it be changed to make it work?

I'm thinking the 6spd DSG would be a better gearbox for the Q3 than the 6spd auto.

Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks
