In Canada, the S-Line package now comes with 19" wheels and all-season tires by default (this is a change from previous years, as of 2013). Upgrading to 20" wheels and summer tires is an extra-cost option. I believe this is unique to Canada.

The small fender extensions that some people have shown pictures of in this thread, go with the 20" wheels and their wider tires. A Canadian S-Line car with 19" wheels doesn't get those extensions, but one that was ordered with the 20" upgrade does.

Dealer told me the same thing - that the mud guards don't fit on S Line models.
I'm considering modifying a set to fit my 2014 TDI S Line.
I would like to see pictures or how-to notes from anyone who has installed mud guards on an S Line

You're dealer could be right or may be wrong. If your car has 20" wheels from the factory, the guards won't fit b/c of the "fender extender" piece. If it came with 19" wheels then the guards will fit.

My S-line + TDI also came with the same little plastic extensions which I was pleased to see. Haven't had any really crappy weather yet since I got the car so don't know how much it will keep off the side, but it can't hurt...

Can you attach a photo of the fender extender?
I don't believe mine came with it.

we don't get much crappy weather here in socal, but my Q5 P+ still kicks up a lot of crud onto the side of my car...otherwise, i wouldn't be reading this thread! =). given that, i guess the plastic extensions do work.

Default Splash Guard Install

Any further info on this issue? I am in the same boat with my new Sline. Pics and part numbers would be really helpful. I got some Chinese ones and they didn't fit at all. I think we need some definite help here.

Please share your knowledge.

Cheers
