Tight, but they fit!
There was approximately a 7mm gap between the weights and caliper in a couple spots. Plenty of room between the spokes and the caliper, I could stick my hand between them.
I already called around and can't get the Vredesteins in time for this winter, so I think we are going to get the Hakkapeliitta R3 SUV.

Got the Hakkas installed.
The smaller 18" rims look better than expected with the meatier tires, imo. I need to get new caps though...
We did not get enough snow yet to really test the tires, but so far this set-up feels great while driving around on our bumpy roads.
The speedometer is right-on when compared with the gps speed on our phones, the difference in diameter from our 255/40-21 summer set is minimal.
Summary:
Audi OEM rims, 8.5x18 ET29
235/60-18s, Hakkapeliitta R3 SUV.
No spacers.

BTW, did you delete your chrome trim? Or is it a factory option? It looks awesome!

Thank you iggy
I bought the car used, but based on what the seller told me it did come OEM with black optics. I love the look.
More pictures from the day I got it. These are the stock 21" rims with worn out/noisy Dunlops. I need to do a proper wash and do a decent "photo shoot"...
