Hello -

Last month I bought what is probably the best car I've ever owned. Knew it the minute I started driving. Picked up a 2011 Q5 Premium with 37K on her. I enjoy driving again.

I have searched the forum and the web but can't seem to find an answer for this. I have a front license plate bracket (NA) but I'd like to put a euro plate on. Is there a bracket that can adapt to the euro frame? I can't tell with certainty when I look at vendor websites. Also, if it holds the thinner, wider plate low, then will the top of my NA license plate bracket show? If it holds the plate higher then I have extra plastic hanging out below (which I could live with). Any ideas here? My car does not have parking sensors.

This is a terrific forum. I've learned a lot from all of you, so thanks for that.

Thanks spijun. Is this an easy DIY or should I have the dealer remove my bracket and install the new one?

You can install it yourself, it's simple
On new panel and you will see locking clips, when you push new in, make sure all locking
Just pay attention because exist version of the S-line and standard model as well as color

Rather than creating a new thread.. asking a very similar question.

I have a 2014 S-line with parking sensors and no front license plate holder.

Is there a mount sold to house a euro plate?
