21" Wheel Search Ends....Pics Inside (Audi S8 Wheels)

I've been searching for a nice set of 21" wheels for quite some time (I know others can relate). Long story short, I decided 6-12 months ago that based on my calculations the 21" Audi S7/S8 wheels would be a good fit on the Q5 and FINALLY tracked down a set of take offs:

Specs:
-2013 21" S8 Wheels - offset and width put them VERY close to OEM S-Line/SQ5 wheel specs (and easily within range for use on the Q5).
-265/40/21" Tires - I went slightly bigger than the 255/40/21" SQ5 size to fill the wheel gap better (did the same trick on my old A4 years ago). Speedo is off less than 1 mph at 65 mph. Also cheaper as you can find take offs of this size and the 255/40/21" options are currently very limited. No clearance issues after a few miles of testing.

Pics below taken today. I apologize for the filthy Q5, but I wanted to snap a few pics after I mounted them up and the weather this week has been awful so I bit the bullet. Few short weeks and the winters will have to go back on. :( I'll try and take some clean pics when weather allows.

Hope this gives some hope to others that are looking for 21's. :)

These actually look really good on the Q. Too bad there's no A/S tire for the 21s. Why new wheels for a car you're selling?

Thanks, 21" wheels will be staying for the 2013 for the summer. I suspect by spring there will be 21" AS tires offered (at least in the SQ5 255/40/21" size), however, I'm still partial to winter tires.

Tires look perfect. Are the wheels 8.5 or 9?

Wheels are 21x9" with a 35mm offset (compared to the 20x8.5" 33mm offset S-Line wheels). Ever so slightly more aggressive, but negligible really (about 1/4").

Ahh, but it does make a difference in how the wider 265 tires look on the rim. I don't think the 265s would look as good on 8.5 wide rim.

Yes sir, completely agree... Certainly would be more 'bulge'.

Damnit!

These are my favourite Audi wheel, now I know they make them in 21 I'm gonna have to find a set! I almost went for them in 20 but decided the OEM SQ5 21 was the more sensible (cheaper) option, plus bigger is always better ;)

Looks soooo good!

Looks good! When you take more photos, please take some on pavement as well. I'd like to see the tires beneath the wheel and the overall stance without grass hiding some of the ground clearance, etc.

Also with the dark color Q5, the grey wheels still look light, relative to car, so they appear silver-enough (for my tastes :) )

I had considered these (20") S6 wheels, but would have needed spacers IIRC:
