Default Adding back up camera?

I remember finding a few Websites that sold OEM Audi upgrade packages for Q5s that didn't have a back up camera. Did some recent searching, but can't find them.

European sites are fine, just looking for a source.

Yea, I saw that site, but I remember finding a few in Europe that were much cheaper, and adaptable to non-Nav Q5s.

Of course there is always a cheap Chinese version, but the problems that can arise and faults on the car I think are not worth the risk

You can navigation buy for $ 500 instead of the original for $ 3000

Good luck

The sites I saw were for OEM Audi control units. One was in Germany, the other in the UK. BOth were shops that offered installation, but obviously that's out of the question :-)

Just interested in the back up camera to show up on the MMI screen, not Nav. Camera is the one option i miss from the Toyota :-(

You must have a display that supports it can not be the base model MMI

Cheap for OEM Audi - Impossible

Yea, I kind of thought that to, but check out these units (all claim to work without factory Nav)

This is an interesting option that allows live video while driving. Would probably have to configure a switch, but much cheaper than a unit:

I second that. If you have the base model screen then you can't just add a backup camera. If I recall, some of the A4 guys have added a MMI control module along w/the backup cam to get it to work. You may want to search or ask on that forum. Also I should add even if you can add a control module to recognize the backup camera through MMI, it's still gonna look like crap on the base model screen.

Suitable for the following Audi vehicles equipped with MMI 3G/ MMI 3G Plus:
LOL NOT FOR BASE MODEL MMI

AUDI HAS FACTORY EQUIPPED NAVIGATION/MMI OR COLOR SCREEN ONLY NO NAVIGATION/MMI? ----- NEED COLOUR SCREEN

We Offer the Genuine Audi Reverse Camera for the MMi 3G System

You have the basic MMI screen

When you find a cheap camera that can be installed on the base model MMI let me know please
Thanks
