Completed all part purchases. When I get the parts I have to find time to perform the retrofit. It must be the most complicated retrofit of all times. Too many parts.

Will start with the rear passenger vent console and vent lines.

Updated post 51, which complements post 45, with all parts I ordered for full 3 zone retrofit. Note some new oem parts were cheaper or same as used parts or within a marginal difference. Prefer to purchase new if difference is small.

Default Retrofit 3Zone HVAC

Hello apoelistas

i Have a Audi SQ5 2014 with MMI3G+ and want to change my 1 Zone HVAC into a 3Zone HVAC without the AQS!
I bought a Facelift 3Zone HVAC and i know it has a cp and i have to go to audi for it.
But witch Coding i need? Same as the 1Zone HVAC?
Faults are not a problem, the main thing is that it works

I would be very grateful if you explain it to me

You probably want to deactivate humidity sensor and air quality sensor. Check more info above.

all adaptation channels matched with zone 1 should be the same so copy your existing adaptation channels just in case in excel and also write the value from 3 zone as a comparison.

Also copy your 1 zone coding. Should be the same as the 3 zone coding.

Okay thank you. I try this after the component protection is deaktivate.
The 3 Zone looks much better then the 1 Zone.

If you want to change your Concert Radio into a MMI 3G, i can help you
It‘s not difficult if you have the wires and the Can Gateway with MOST Bus!
I change my Concert into a MMI 3G+ Facelift Navi 1 Year ago.

Nice. I have a thread on Android 7” touch screen and CarPlay usb dongle for radio Concert (I upgraded to Radio Concert facelift too). mmi 3G + is not in my plans after having done this upgrade. Not worth it to downgrade I guess .

Now the CP from the 3Zone Fl HVAC is deaktivated. Everything works fine after Coding, air condition works too.
But the only thing that didnt work is the rear window heating.
The Button is without a function.
If I control it via vcds (Actuator Diagnosis), then the button lights up!
Do you have a idea?

perform the basic setting 03 (basic setting 01 fails so don’t perform that)
1. Engine on
2. Dont stop test after message performed, just press close otherwise you will get the following error:

03023 - Running-in Requirement
005 - No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation

if problem persists check adaptation channels and your coding.

Never had a problem with any of the buttons. All work fine.

Looks nice. Congrats

I will do a synopsis
A/c works well in synchronization mode (2 zone is controlled from first mode) but what one has to bear in mind is that he has to retrofit the rear zone too otherwise this exercise is just a nice to have visual upgrade.

also better get the HVAC without the heated seats buttons, what I did.

For prefacelift B8 one has to get the prefacelift 3 zone HVAC otherwise he will run in trouble see my previous posts for why.

Note you will have 11 faults on HVAC control unit, if you can live with this.

what is this if I may ask?? Sounds Turkish but this is an english forum
