Audi AG makes next gen A4 announcement--implicit roadmap to next gen Q5
 

Audi made its next generation A4 announcement today, leapfrogging the formal intro scheduled in a few months for some reason. While it is the A4, not Q5, it is pretty obvious to me how it signals the changes to come in the next gen Q5--more weight savings, efficiency, higher engine outputs on at least 2.0T and 3.0TDI, adaptable inst. panel and other displays, next gen MMI, lift gate type functions, B&0, safety systems, etc. Given Q5 takeoff points were B8 A4 and the A5 for so much of the vehicle, easy to connect the dots.
