So, I brought in my 2015 Q5 for its 5000 mile service a few months back and mentioned to my SA that I was experiencing some excessive brake noise, particularly during cold weather. I basically got the standard answer of "that's just how they are" and the SA admitted to having the same issue with his Audi.

But, out of the blue this week, I received a voicemail message from someone at AOA indicating that their engineers had come up with some type of fix to lessen the brake noise and that the fix was available to be installed on my Q5. Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck getting back in touch with the person that called me - it seems everyone is out to lunch over the holiday week. I did manage to reach another person at AOA, who confirmed the existence of some sort of fix, but couldn't provide me with any of the technical details on what it was.

I'm curious if anyone else here has received a similar call from AOA offering this fix and knows the details of what it is?
