Default Bar graph on central display

This morning while driving to work, my eye caught a bar graph that appeared on the central display. The bar on the graph was almost to the top, but it disappeared before I could see what it was for and I could not find any way to make it reappear. Anyone else see this before?

Sounds like a signal meter for a cellphone connected to the bluetooth. We haven't picked up our Q5 yet, so I can't confirm for sure, but it seems logical like that is what it would be.

There is a proximity bar for the navigation system as well. This is displayed as you approach a turn (a visual count down if you will).

Was it a single bar? The oil level is supposed to show after starting the car if the bonnet(hood) has been opened.

It happened after at least 20 mins of driving on a straight highway. Doesn't make sense. A single verticle bar towards the right hand side of the display.
