Default Block Heater Q5
Looking to buy a block heater for my Q5, anyone knows where to buy ? also an air deflector for hood.

Use an electric oil pan heater pad instead. Easier to install, cheaper and more effective.

+1 on that. Mine works great. Just be sure to use heat resistant silicone to seal the edges when you do the install. Keeps dirt from getting in.

Where did you get the pan heater? This will be my first winter with my Q5 and i want to be ready. Bring that cold and snow.

Dealer installed mine before pick-up. Its a standard feature for Manitoba winters. But try Canadian Tire. Ask for Temro heaters.

It's a heating element which is installed in the water jacket of the engine. "Block" refers to the engine block.
