I just bought a 2016 Q5 prem + with MMI and have AT&T as the service provider for Audi connect.
I can't get any better than 3G on Audi connect, and I live in the NY/NJ/LI area where AT&T is all 4GLTE. I've tried a SIM reset and rebooted MMI but no joy.
Does anyone with a 2016 Q5 get 4GLTE via AT&T?
Thanks

Try calling AT&T to make sure the SIM card is set for LTE, and the account is set for it as well. They may tell you to go to Audi...but make sure AT&T's end of things is right. They can do an over-the-air-reset and change which network a "phone" defaults to using. And AT&T's "4G" service is NOT 4G-LTE, it is "HSDPA+" which is really 3G. (Well, not even that by international standards.)
So unfortunately, you've got two sets of clowns to deal with.

From your reply, I'm wondering if the MMI will show 3G even if it's in 4G/HSDPA+. I'll call AT&T again.... ugh.
