Hi folks... as I've said here and there in this forum, I'm close to ordering my new Q5 (or forced to pick from available inventory).

For those of you that ordered custom from the factory, how long did it take to get your vehicle from paperwork to drive-off?

Picking mine up this Friday. It will be 6 weeks from when I ordered it, but we were able to grab one that had already been allocated to the dealer and then customized for us.

Wow, some wildly varying times here. I'll skip over the eternal wait in the UK 'cuz I'm in California, but 16+ weeks to Minnesota? I've less than 4 months on my current car's lease. I might have to shop from existing inventory...
