DIY - Execuhitch Hitch install on 2013 Audi Q5

Since the ExecuHitch is just another mechanical connection between the trailer and tow vehicle, why not use the OEM module and wiring harness with it? This would ensure compatibility between lighting systems and enable the additional features of the car.

Thanks for the info. I'm not going to do the install so that's the first hurdle. I spoke with a EH installer but haven't gotten a price yet. Also asked the dealer for the install price and they haven't gotten back to me either. Guess no one out there is all that hungry for my business.

Module can be installed at the same time or later when programming is done.

Got it. I"m hoping the hitch installer is reasonable, looks like in all probable close to $1K with parts and labor. And when I mentioned the dealer, that was for install of the Audi hitch, etc. Price difference with Execuhitch and OEM module is minimal to OEM hitch.
