Default Does a bicycle fit in the back with the seats down in the Q5?

I need to fit my hybrid bicycle in the back of a 2014 Q5 without removing a wheel. I currently have a A4 hatchback station wagon and a bike is very hard to slide into the back.

I had my brothers hybrid bicycle in perfectly, I would definitely recommend getting a cover though as it will clash with the side panels in the Q5 but should definitely fit in perfectly with some wriggle room, if its a really large bicycle it will definitely fit if you turn the handlebars to the side.

I've had mine in there quite a bit, XL frame mountain bike so it's a good size bike. Secret seems to be front wheel first w/front wheel on an angle and no problem whatsoever. I would definitely prefer a rack or roof mount independent of which car I drive, but haven't gotten around to it on the Q5

I keep some spare towels in the underfloor storage compartment to act as padding for cargo such as this. My mountain bike usually needs one towel around a tire to avoid marring the side panels.

I'm a cyclist, have a 2014 Q5, and frequently put my bike inside. One additional suggestion: be certain to put a blanket, or thick towel, ON THE BUMPER. It's just too easy to accidentally hit the bumper with a stray pedal or handlebar or whatever. After the second set of scratches (despite my attempts to be careful) I got the bumper fixed. Now Ireligiosuly cover the bumper while loading and unloading the bike.
