Today I got a call from the SA that I usually deal with and he assured me that it is covered by warranty. Not sure whether this is a result of calling AoA or not...

hmn48 I'm confused. I understand you have MY10. Do you mean it was built in Oct '09?

Wow. Serious brain fart. I'll blame it on the kids. Yes 09 build.

The #s hardly stack up to a recall do they?
Justforfun I Maybe #1 Q5 2010 HERE

I will have to speak to my Dealer on Monday March 28 2011

BTW, when I recently went to get the Q5 serviced, the service advisor stated that I may need some additional work - a recall or other. When he checked the details, it was for the DRL's. He then checked my service history. Because my DRL's had already both been fixed, he said I didn't need to have them replaced under the recall. FWIW.

Solucien,

I don't know when you last visited your dealership to have any work done? I had my 2010, P+, in for work in February and I had both DRL control modules replaced per Audi Open Campaign 94E7. The service advisor just had it done per Audi. Have both modules replaced, not just the one that went out. Your dealer should know about it. Good Luck!

Thnx Manup about the campaign#!! I'm sure to mentioned it to them. My Q was actually in for 15k service just a month ago or something and I think they even checked for campaigns because I had an issue with the swooshy/skweeky sound from the steering wheel or column, but they didn't mention the DRL's. Maybe they just wait till an issue arises. Well I'll contact the dealer now well prepared. Thnx again love this forum!
