Does anyone know when the MY2015 Q5 will start production. I know a few brands release in spring and some in fall. I want to buy a Q5 but if the MY2015 comes out in summer, I can wait a few months.

MY2015 is totally the same as MY2013/2014, without changes

I'm waiting to order a 2015 TDI.

Dealer told me we could order around April, and delivery date would be July.

I could have gotten a TDI for May...but prefer to wait 2 months for a MY2015.

Maybe the equipmnt will be better for same price. It' probably the last year.

April sounds about right for orders with first arrivals in July. Once the dealer gets the Audi order guides with pricing, they can start taking "official" factory orders.

But as he wrote, it's possible Audi will rejuggle the options and packages. Happens almost every year in the U.S.

Audi usually gives Equipment credits on the last year of a phase out body style. But I'm not sure if Audi is going to have to do much with how popular q5s are.

Some people are going to want to buy the last of the German built q5s. The 2016 being built in Mexico is one of those things that might play into people's minds.

I was about to pull the trigger on a 2014, but my wife is insisting on waiting for the 2015. Hard to argue since they will start taking orders in about 2 months. I're reached out to a local dealer and he *thinks* they'll get their order guide in May. I'm hoping it's close to April as others have suggested here.

I am totally in agreement with this. A new design + new plant + new plant location (meaning new workers needing training). All this spells trouble to me.

Couldn't agree more! When I think about the 2016 Q5 being built in Mexico all I think about is the problematic Mexican built VWs. I'm sure they will be able to get things under control eventually but, I think there will be teething problems initially.

Are all Q5s going to be make in Mexico? Or will euro spec ones be made in Germany?

Keep checking back to get revised dates, but normally the Q5 production run ends in March and new model ordering is in April.
