Extend mirrors for pulling a 7.5' wide trailer

Hello

We are getting an airtream sport 22BF camper Trailer. It is 7.5' wide.

https://www.airstream.com/travel-trailers/sport/

We are told that we need to add Extend mirrors on the Q5 car. if not, the camper is more wide that the Q5 thus we can not see back.

what is the best Extend mirrors that can connect on the Q5

thank you

I use these with our Q7. Have not found anything better.

Or perhaps a wireless backup camera, installed on the rear of the trailer, and easily powered by the trailer's power?

There is even a Rear View Monitoring System offered as an option on the Sport 22FB.

Please post a picture of this when you get it. The trailer, not the mirrors!

Best mirrors that I have found are...

https://www.repuselmirror.com/repuse...irror-audi-q5/

I initially chose the Hensley "McKesh" Mirrors but found that the straps left abrasion marks on the doors. I ended up getting the Repusel Luxmax version with the long stainless steel arms and convex mirrors.

Hope this helps.
