Default Recent Convert with a few questions

Hello Everyone-

Super excited to join the world of "Audi"

I've had some great loves with my VW products (see signature below) but was mostly a BMW driver until now. SO loving my Q5 TDI!

I have a few questions and I'm not sure if anyone knows or can point me where to go

1) How hard is it to swap the side mirrors for SQ5 alloy side mirrors?

2) The BT Streaming Audio and BT seems to take forever to load, does anyone else have this issue?

3) Is there a way to get the car to "chirp" when I unlock the doors?

4) Has anyone figured out how to activate the lift gate close with the key (vs pushing the trunk button on the lift gate?

SQ5 alloy side mirrors!! Are just cheap paint, flat silver!!! Take it from me I own a SQ5 and they are hideous. Can't even compare to my 2010 S5. I have been
thinking about wrapping them but haven't had the time

You mean like this?

You cannot program the lift gate to close with the remote. However, a member on this forum developed a special box with a couple of relays that will enable this functionality. I just installed mine a few days ago and it works great.

ME FIRST I can't stand the silver mirrors. I stopped by my dealer yesterday to price out getting black mirror skins, door handles, grill, window trim, and roof rails.

OVER $6000 in parts

The mirror housing is just a cover piece. I am going to see if a body shop can just remove and paint and reinstall.

Regards,

So dumb question but would this cause any warranty issues? I've never done "mods" on my cars

It shouldn't, but I could see them complaining about covering it if your hatch motor went out.

Not to be snide, but judging from your vehicle ownership history you'll only have this for 1-2 years, so who cares?
