Just looked up the paperwork. Steering wheel by itself was $935.

The iNav button, when pushed, will prompt the navigation to speak your next upcoming direction/turn/distance.......obviously you have to have a destination programmed and running for this button to be functional. If pushed without a destination programmed, i believe the nav just says "no destination" or something like that.

Your 2011 Q5 OEM steering wheel had this function, it just wasn't a separate button. if you had pushed your steering wheel volume wheel button in - it would function as this "iNav" button does now.

I believe the reason audi now has an iNav button is to allow for audio muting by pushing in the volume wheel control.

Hmmm... I'll have to try that. When I pushed it without a destination in, it didn't do or say anything. Thanks for the feedback. I'll see what I can figure out.

So I entered a destination, pushed the iNAV button, and still nothing. But when I push in the volume rocker it gives me the next direction, just like the old wheel.

Maybe it has to be changed in the computer system or something, IDK. It's not a huge deal to me really.

2 days in, and the steering wheel was well worth it. It feels great in the hands. Love it.
