Green warning - looks like oil can (or petrol nozzle)- not in car manual.

This is the DIS with Efficiency Program. Signs showing fuel consumption average of 100 km / l, below the current consumption or distance covered, or consumption of air conditioners.

we can speak in your language too, no problem :-)
the thing why this got me: This indicator only turned up 2 days ago.
It never showed before, hence why I got all wondering...
so actually, it never worked before the right way? some glitch on my dashboard?

Good one - Spijun wins the prize for the correct answer ~
that's a common question from my better half: What's this ? it never showed up before !
And since it's not my daily driver, I have to guess too and hope it flies...
The car has so many options, it can be daunting !

I wonder if this is the problem...but judging from what spijoun said, my guess is that this is always on - or maybe this indicator is activated then only through the toggle...(?)
will play around to figure it out later on :-)

The green fuel nozzle icon is always on when you have that screen displayed. It you toggle (hit the button on the bottom of the wiper stalk) you can change the in-dash display from that efficiency view to large speedometer or large clock or nav directions (if active), etc.. While on each screen, you can toggle the switch on the end of the stalk to change certain things within the screen. i.e. fuel consumption, miles to empty, etc.

Ha, I was driving my Q last night and pulled up that screen, then remembered this thread and thought that this was probably what the OP was asking about. This screen was not included in the 2010 q5, so I wonder when it was added? My guess would be in 2011 when the 2.0T was introduced in the states? Yes, I did have nav and the color DIS in my 2010, so was a little surprised when I ran across this screen in the 2012. It is a nice addition nonetheless.
