how many miles on car when delivered

how many miles should I expect to be on my car when i pick up my Q5 next week?
just wanted to get an idea what is reasonable miles range, less than 10...less than 50 miles?

also do you pay first then see the car or see the car then pay? =P

thanks

Hey Superduck, there was a topic on this some time back although I cannot find it. There was much discussion about this and well interresting thread. Mine had 21 km (not miles) on it when it arrived, should have taken a pic but didn't. Just over 700 km now and loving it.

Mine had 15 miles on it when I picked it up. I read on another thread that is the normal mileage due to miles put on in Germany and then shipping docks etc.
I also inspected my car first when I went to pick it up and then handed over the check.

congrats, your gonna LOVE it!

Here's the link to some previous threads that should, more than enough, answer your questions on how many miles you should expect on your Q5.

8 miles on mine.

Signing check and docs should be the last thing you do before you drive it off the lot.

You should always look first before you buy. Take it out for a spin. Do a once, twice, three time over. They can wait since you're about to drop serious bucks and you have leverage until you sign on the dotted line.

I also had 8 miles on mine.

Test drives were done in other models, the one that had the options I wanted was at the port and due to the dealer in about a week, so I put a deposit on it and it essentially went straight into my hands from the delivery truck.
