Has anyone else gone through 3 or more Q5's like me? Curious if there's more Q5 super fans like me out there.

I wonder if you marry 3 different women that more or less look the same, have same body height and weight, same character etc, what would be the benefit, . It is a funny comparison (not a real life experience, just examining a second option).

Just curious how much difference is this from trading in 2 Audi Q5s which look similar to get a third Audi Q5.

I would definitely examine other options like Mercedes GLC or GLC coupe which look at least as good but have different appearance different brand different character.

My first Q5 was a 2011 2.0t. So I upgraded to the 2013 3.0T supercharged for more power and wanted the adaptive dampening suspension for better handling. Then upgraded again to the SQ5, mainly because I wanted it in white. And getting an additional 80HP was a nice plus though.

To clarify I didn't simultaneously own 3 Q5s. I upgraded one at a time.

My first Q5 was a white 2.0 turbo.. Really liked it, but wanted more power and more tow capacity, so instead of simply upgrading to a new Q5, I graduated to a Q7 with Adaptive chassis and built in Tow... now the towing is almost double capacity for what i NEED which should make driving better. What I lost was MPG is down due to bigger car. What I gained is a much smoother ride but with the adaptive chassis/4 wheel steering, the Q7 actually turns tighter than the Q5.
All that said, I loved the Q5 and believe it is a super car!

Those are good reasons to upgrade a Q5. My Q5 tfsi suspensions were/are not made for offroad conditions (very stiff), e.g. not nice to drive off road, but very nice to drive on the road. I believe that having a R18 instead of R19 wheel diameter would help if one wants to try offroad driving (to see if that improves) before trading in his Q5 for one with adaptive dampening suspensions which is a really nice technology to have when combined with Audi Drive Select and Sports Differentials.

Having said the above, I also sometimes examine options of improving my Q5, or retrofitting technologies, because I want something more from time to time, as time progresses. Such as Audi Drive Select, Keyless entry / start, tailgate springs for opening the hatch, bluetooth, back up camera, towbar etc.
