Ibis white Q5 with Enkei Raijin
 

I picked up my Q5 2.0T Premium Plus two weeks ago and I'm looking to use the original wheel for winter and get some blck Enkei Raijin for the summer. Of course i'll change the continental tires for some Hakka 7 for this winter and install the original tires on the enkei wheels next spring.

i was wondering if anybody had tried these wheel on a Q5? any pictures? I have had different opinion regarding the offset that is not exactly the same. Original audi wheel are 39mm and the Enkei are 35mm. Some say it not an issue other say I shouldn't go more that + or - 2mm off the original offset.

I put 25mm offset Hartmanns on as my summer wheel and really like the look; it fills the wheel well out a little more and is no issue whatsoever.

was the tire /wheel height in front... when warm and at speed the tire would expand and drag on the suspension member above the front left wheel....

we had to go to a lower profile 20"....and the wife wanted the audi multispoke:

Thanks for the info! I'm planning to stay with the 235/60R18 and the offset is a little lower which means that the wheel should be a bit more towards the outside so in my case I don't see that as being an issue.

If the wheel widths are the same then you're correct ... the wheels will be slightly farther out, although likely undetectable with that little change in offset. You can always add wheel spacers if you want a more aggressive look.

The Raijin is a sharp wheel. I haven't seen one on a Q5, so please post pics when you get them mounted.

Unfortunatly, picture will have to wait a little... I'm planning to get them in the spring :o

Question regarding Offset
 

Hi guys (and girls if any...),

I'm about to order the Enkei Raijin from TireRack.com, but before I do, I would like to know your opinion regarding the offset. Ha any of you have tried 35 offset instead of the 39 oem wheels? If so, did you find any change in the sterring? any comments is welcome!

Personaly I don't see how 4 offset difference would change much but I,ve been wrong before and since you can't try before you buy it doesn't cost anything to ask!

I have the stock 18's which are 39mm offset and I've been running 18" Sport Edition SE-14 winter wheels with 35mm offset no problem.

I just noticed my wheel and the one you're looking at are nearly identical in size. Both are 18x8 with 35mm offset. The Enkei has 5.86" backspacing while mine has 5.94" backspacing, which is negligble difference.

The offset difference is not significant enough to be felt especially if you are using the same tires.
