The factory sub had 2 wires. The high level input of the sub has 4 wires: white,white/black left and grey, grey/black right. So I needed to sum the the left right.

Interested in adding an amp/sub to my 2018 but this seems to be similar. There's 2 channels going to the sub. Is it correct that I just need pos and neg from one channel for high level input to the new amp?
Is there any issue using those high levels that are already amplified and putting them into another amplifier?

As long as the Amp you're adding has high level inputs you should be all set.
The B8 model has only 2 wires going to the factory sub. By your description it sounds like the B9 has 4. Probably a stereo pair so 1 set should do the job. Then again many amps do allow for stereo high level inputs.
Scroll up about 30 messages and see my post on amping up the sub & adding a new box altogether.

I actually have the same amp as you. So to make sure I'm correct, I'll grab a pos and neg from one channel going to the sub, power and ground is obvious, remote from cig adapter? Seems pretty darn simple.

If you're using the HX300 then I'd use both high level inputs from the factory amp just in case bass is sent to one channel and not the other. Unlikely but an easy extra step.
Get a pair of those little speaker to RCA adapters and your install will be quick and clean.
I'd also check to see if the cig in your car switches off with the button and not the door opening. Some times I like to sit with the car off and finish out a song. Find a switch power that works off the door and not the start button.

Think I will just be happy with the B&O sub. It's good enough. More bass then I'll listen in house with my SVS.

It's pretty terrible which is why this thread exists. Everyone has different taste in what they consider acceptable and for many oem systems just dont do it. The sub weighs like 2lb's so its pretty damn weak.

My CV spare tire arrives on Monday. I will get it installed and update fitment and sound. I currently have this https://www.jbl.com/car-subwoofers/J...oofers#start=1 Louder than stock but I want it out of the way.
