Our Q5 does not accept Iphone 4 for playing music when plugged. It first pops incompatible device attached, but then later displays all the songs in Iphone.

However, it works fine with Iphone 3G. Anyone with similar problem? Do I need switch the cables?

2011 Q5 here, I get the same incompatibility message, but no issues playing music after clearing the error.

I had issues with using my iPhone 4 and dialing. Turns out, it was the phone and not the car that was the issue. You should try another 4 if you can find one. I never got an incompatible error with either phone.

We have 2 iphone 4's and both play just fine, a message does pop up but it doesnt affect anything. The thing that bothered me was that i couldnt disable itunes autoplay to be able to play pandora or other internet radio apps, I had to jailbreak the phone to solve that issue.

Interesting! A jailbroken phone can bypass that? My phone is already jailbroken what do I need to do to make this possible?
