Default Looking into SQ5 Tire Replacement with 265/40R21s

Hello Q5 Family,

Has anyone had any issues with replacing tires on their SQ5 with 265/40R21s? I'm down to 2/32 remaining on all tires and P Zeros only lasted 16.5K miles for exactly 1 year. I don't want to be buying tires EVERY year so I want to get the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's which supposedly have a better wear rating along with a 30K mile warranty. Please advise.

Are you using the OEM rims or do you have aftermarket rims that are wider? Only asking because the recommended wheel width for these tires is 9 - 10.5in but the OEMs are at 8.5in.

Replaced stock with Pirelli Scorpions Verde A/S (265/40R21) with no issues.

I went with Atturo as well. Love the price and the handling so far has been very good - wet and dry. they are quiet and grippy. But I don't love the look of them - the squareness of the tire just doesn't scream performance tire like it should - part of the problem is the larger size on the OE rim - performance tires IMO look better when stretched out to the rim edge rather than overhanging it...but better curb protection I guess.....

Thanks for the feedback. I just ordered the Atturos and will get them installed next week. I'm considering using spacers due to the extra height and width of this tire compared to the 255/40R21s. I read where someone used 12.5mms in the front and 20mms in the rear and got a nice flush look. It is an extra $190 using the ECS spacers. I'll let you know what I decide to do next week.

I went with spacers from Mops. 10F and 15R. Just about flush. Looks nice. $250 shipped I think. Mops at Nemesis Autosport. Good guy.

Hello. Not Mops but I'm better looking and can help.

And yes, if looking for spacers for the SQ5, 10/15mm spacers are perfect and indeed can do for $240 shipped and come with bolts.
