The hitch itself DOES come with a supplemental service manual. That said, it won't tell you anything not mentioned in the aforementioned links. The only hard part of the install is getting the bumper fascia off (which is where the pictures come in). The plastic will tear if you're not careful. Once that is off, everything is designed such that it can only fit together one way. It's really quite an easy install.

Thanks very much to theisforum I installed my DrawTite 75940 (installed looks like OEM) for a lot less then dealer. Luckily I scored the OEM controller box, bracket and wiring off ebay for a good price and installed that too.

Last request is can anyone share how to "code" the Q to recognize the controller box. I have the RossTech cable last used on my Jetta (rip) which I think will work?

Thanks for all the details and instructions.

Seeing as I can't stand the unsightly OEM installs (even with the S-line rear bumper on my car) I think I'm going to go with the Execuhitch mentioned in this and some other threads.

Definitely looks like a DIY job I can handle as well.
