Default Lowering Q5

Taking delivery of my q5 this week, it is q5 with full off rd package and off rd design 20inch alloys, I'm contemplating purchasing the Eibach pro kit lowering springs for the vehicle which lowers the front by 35mm and rear by 25mm. Just wondering is this even possible with 20's on vehicle and would I be sacrificeing ride as the vehicle is fitted with the standard suspension.

Any ideas or advice welcome.

Don

Lemme get this right...you bought(ordered) a Q5 with "full off rd package" AND "off rd design 20inch alloys"(whatever they are) and now you want to lower it by at least 1 inch to make it LESS "off-road" worthy???
Is that what I'm really reading here?
If so, there is nothing that I can do to help you...sorry.

If I'm somehow reading this incorrectly...
yes, you can lower it with 20" wheels. The overall wheel tire assembly is roughly the same diameter as an 18" or 19" set-up. And yes, you will likely lose some amount of softness in the ride.

I'm thinking about to lower my Q5 a little bit using the Eibach pro kit lowering springs. Anyone have tested or used this springs on a Q5?

Default lowering springs

Did you use only springs to lower this Q5?

From the thread title I was thinking roughly along the same thing as The Bulldog. However I'd take t a step further. Why buy an SUV that's purposely designed for road clearance, and then defeat that purpose? I think you bought the wrong car.
