mirror fell off! and I'm selling my Q5
Well, came out of work today to see my rearview mirror dangling by its cable and completely disconnected from the windshield. Lucky for me that i have my 25K service appointment on Monday. That is one heavy mirror! How Audi fails to properly mount the mirror is beyond me but I don't like it one bit.
So, selling the Q5. If you are in Germany and want it, let me know. put your email or phone in this thread. Not selling it because the mirror fell off! Just rearranging finances and the Audi doesn't fit into the plans for the next few years.

Others in the forum had the same issue with the Mirror falling off !! looks like common problem now with 5 people reporting the same issue?!

But, that is definitely NOT one of them.

JFA give the guy a break. If you read his whole post he said it doesn't fit with his rearranged finances.

Not trying to give the guy a hard time, but it did sound like his mirror broke so he was selling the car. If he's having financial problems, that's a whole different story.

Am I the only one who thinks this is unacceptable in a vehicle at this price point? Has Audi offered any comment about this problem? Is it limited to the Q5 or does it happen across the brand?
