Hi.
i have aa Audi Q5 2010 with MMI 3G with the latest firmware and 2017 map.
Whime driving yesterday, it suddenly stopped showing the road details on the screen. It still shows the gas station, scool and other marks, gives me guidance, shows the direction on the dash, but the screen does only show the area as flat or mountain.



I have tried several initialise, reset but it doesn't work. The map is like this.

Has anyone seen anything like this? How do I get the roads back?

Appreciate any help.

Where did you get the 2017 update done ? Dealer ? See you're in Sweden, fellow northerner -Cda.

I am in Norway.
I got the update done by an Audi dealer in Sweden for a couple of weeks ago. It worked ok until yesterday.

Sorry for my misinterpretation of you locale.I'd go back to the dealer and insist that they fix this issue.They'll probably try to blame it on hardware but don't let them do that !

Found this in a review for the MMI 3G...

The most useful change to the MMI system is a tiny toggle atop the control **** (see gallery) that allows you to scroll around on the map (now with an available topographic birds-eye view), a task that took multiple cumbersome steps with the original MMI system.

The only thing I can imagine that I have done, is that I might have touched the controll stick with accident. I don't remember changing anything.

I am going to show it to the dealer, but I am like 1000km away on a vacation with the car, and it would have been nice to have it working when I'm still driving through north of Norway.

The distance in the picture shows 200 meters per unit. Zoom out to 10 km per unit.
