Very cool. Can't picture my wife next to me on the track. She would freak out for every car whipping around us. Might have to leave her in the coffee shop.

Certainly a thing to do if I get around to European delivery.

Thank you for sharing.

Dennis

To answer some of the questions:

1) Geico lizard need not apply. Euro Delivery gives you two weeks of German-sourced auto insurance. Yes, there are some nuances with insurance and the 'ring, but I believe the Audi insurance covers it.
2) Yes, it costs money to track the 'ring - 26 euros (about $35)/lap. I did one lap.
3) Yes, you track the whole Nordschleife part of the ring, but not the F1 circuit. The entry/exit to the 'ring for "tourist days" is at the mid-point of the 3km long straightaway.

And just in case future people want to do this.. I was cleaning out my euro delivery paperwork this weekend, and I did find a specific exclusion in car insurance coverage for "driving on a competition track" with the Audi-provided insurance. So, please drive with caution if you decide to hit the 'ring in your new Audis.

It's probably worth getting explicit confirmation about the Ring, as it is a public toll road. That wording looks wishy washy

That was awesome. Thanks for sharing. Now I regret not making a detour between Brussels and Amsterdam to stop by for a lap in our SQ5. I didn't realize it was so cheap, for some reason I thought it was over $100. DAMN!!!
