Default 2011 Q5 2.0 problems

Accelerated with a bit of zest from a light and the EPC and MIL lights illuminated. The vehicle felt like it was skipping severely. I nursed it across town to home and called AUDI roadside assistance. They were very helpful and it was on the truck within a half hour. I'm thinking it could be a coil pack or injector - any guesses.

Had what sounds like the same thing under full acceleration (twice) and a full stall (once). ECM was faulty and was replaced under warranty.

FYI, the problem ended up being the coil for #1 cylinder. It was warrantied, service was quick but still an overall inconvenience.

They have been a problem since 2002....

A new coil is about $20, and a scanner to tell you which cylinder it is also costs about $20 on Ebay. Takes about 10-15 minutes to change a coil.
