This is an old thread, but I just found it. Anyway, I have a Q7 with 5.5.5 and the ICC is absolutely not on it. It's frustrating, because I live right near it and get pushed in all sorts of odd routes. Are you certain the Q5 version has the ICC? Is it the full run from 270 to 95? Because I definitely don't!

Hello, first time here, I have an Audi A8l with the executive package, Audi offers 2 different cables Blue/Red for the interface so my iPod works, I can only use the blue( audio only) cable. When I try the red it doesn't recognize it! Any updates for this?

Default latest Q5 version?

I have a 2011 Q5 and nav db is at 5.4.7.
So what's the latest version? I called the dealer and they only say the latest is 2012-2013.

thanks.

5.4.7 was what came on our 2011 Q5 and the one update I finally forced them to do was to 5.5.6 - and it wasn't much of an update

Basically, from all I've read, 5.5.5 and version 5.5.6 are the virtually the same with 5.5.6 being dealer updated and 5.5.5 is factory updated...

I would bet 5.5.6 will be the last update since Audi has gone to the audi connect features and will not support older models....

(Not that they really supported anything before )

I too have Garmins that are much more functional than Audi's 2011 or Ford's 2012 factory gps units.....

Just to throw some salt on our MMI Update wounds....
I have a 2013 Ford Taurus SHO (wicked ride too) and I just got a FREE Navigation Update from Ford. The installation was by me for free or at the dealer for free, but they wanted you to drop of your car depending on their workload.

Is the 2013 Q5 Navi any more update-able? What do other car makers do?

Lexus updates their maps once a year in October. Pricing is kind of a rip off IMO at around $300.

On the Q5 if you keep the Audi Connect subscription up to date there isn't a need for the Audi updates since you can access Google info. But that is $300 annually.

Thanks. With Lexus charging $300 a year, all of a sudden the same amount for all the capability that Audi Select gives you is a steal for the same dough.

I had my last Lexus for 3 years and didn't update the maps during that time. I was getting ready to do it when we decided to get the Q5. They list online what's included in each annual update so you can decide it it's worth it. They also have E Destination and Destiination Assist, both subscription based, which were easy to use and very useful.

I agree that Audi Connect offers a lot of capability and we use it quite a bit. Still not sure though if it's worth $30/month though. I have until May to decide.

Just took delivery of my Q5. Love it! Anyhow, the map version loaded on the car is 5.7.3. It appears to be quite up to date, roads changed within the last year or two are updated around my area.

I nearly lost my hat last week when my father brought over his recently purchased CPO 2013 A4 which came loaded with 5.5.5 and did not have my neighbourhood at all...some of the homes were built in 2007. I was ready to lose it on someone but all is good with 5.7.3. Just thought I'd let people know what the latest map is.
