Motor and tranny replaced? Your braver than I would be. I'd stay away. But who did the work, a local shop or Audi dealer?

No only the engine has been replaced and it has something like 29,000 miles and the transmission has like 127000 and is the original transmission. Strong Audi in SLC did the engine replacement.

It is 3.2L, right? What happened to the other engine?
Is it brand new engine?

yes correct is it. it had some problems they tried a bunch of things and just ended up replacing the whole engine because they couldnt find what the problem was so they replaced it with a brand new engine.

Well I have 179,000 original miles on my 2010 Q5 engine and transmission. I have had no problems with either. If you are happy with the price, I would say go for it.
