You see, I would like to put the euro-spec suspension on my US SQ5. However, there are 4 differents springs rate available for the rear and it's not clear which one I need.

So, would it be possible for you to tell me which of the following code (0YB, 0YC, 0YD or 0YE) is listed on your option code sticker. Only one should be present. Also, please tell me if your have glass roof and/or hitch from factory.

Here's what the Option code sticker looks like. It's probably stuck on the first page of your maintenance booklet.

It's easy:

8R0 511 115 DA PR-1BD+0YB - without glass roof / hitch

8R0 511 115 DB PR-1BD+0YC - with hitch

8R0 511 115 DC PR-1BD+0YD - with glass roof

8R0 511 115 DD PR-1BD+0YE - with glass roof and hitch

Still not going to be right spring rates though because of the weight differences between the TFSI and the TDI.

Rear weight should be pretty similar.

There are 2 members with glass roof that have confirmed that their option code is 0YC. However, mine is 0YD.

So I went to the dealer and verified the SQ5 with pano they have... 0YC!!!

Why mine is 0YD!?!?!?!

After checking numerous SQ5, it's now clear... They use different rear springs on MY15!

MY14 SQ5 with glass roof is 0YC
MY15 SQ5 with glass roof is 0YD

wow, really confused now.
Trying to do the same on a 2014 3.0t w/ glass roof, no tow hitch
my PR Codes read 0YE for the rear (and 0JG for the front.)

Does anyone have any insight on this?

spijun codes are for >>MY14 SQ5.

When doing my research, I also checked a few MY15 Q5 NA... They don't seem to use the same weight class as SQ5...

Q5............................ 0YD
Q5 + Roof.................. 0YE
Q5 + Roof + Offroad.... 0YF

However, I didn't note if they were 2.0T or 3.0T. :-(
